Albergo Gatto Bianco

Every single thing... I would like to thank each and every member of the hotel's staff for the wonderful experience during my recent (and all my previous) stay in your beautiful hotel, which over the years became my "home away from home."  It is an amazing feeling to see familiar and smiling faces of the hotel's staff, always happy to assist and make their guests' stay ever more comfortable and memorable!  This is my hotel-of-choice in the beautiful Island of Capri :) Look no further !!  With utmost gratitude and warmest wishes to each and every member of the hotel's staff,  Irena  

Beautiful hotel and perfectly clean in every aspect . The staff were charming / efficient and very helpful. Our luggage was collected from and to the Port . Reception organised a Private Car from the Port to take us to Naples Train Stn to catch our train to Florence . Australians travelling with two cases so it was all streamlined and effortless for us . The lovely hotel is hidden in a sidestreet of one of the most central parts of capri city. From there you can go to all sides of the island in a blink of an eye, the bus stop to Anacapri is close by. And still the hotel itself feels like you can get away from the crowded tourism in the streets and sit for breakfast in the lovely garden of the hotel. Breakfast is very good by the way and typical for italy more on the sweet side, the pasterys they offer are capri specialtys and I was excited I could taste what I had seen in the windows of a bakery the day before! The rooms are small and being located inward the balkony on the groundfloor didnt have a view, I also didnt check if there was a hidden fridge somewhere. But we stayed for one night and wanted to go for walks in the lovely streets and for little hikes anyhow, the room was good for our needs, lovely designed in the typical blue and yellow colors, very confy matrace and quiet. The hotel staff let us have our suitcase longer there after check out when we ask. Beware, the white cat does exist :) it snuggled up in one of our towels when we let it on the balkony to dry, how iconic! Strongly recommanded: take a little hike clockwise to the the natural stone arch in the east of the island and return passing the famous viewpoint south east of the island back to capri city. It takes about 40 to 50 minutes and gives you one of the best views! Also that way you walk some stairs rather down than upwards. Thanks for the great stay!

Centrally located and quiet at the same time. Nice hotel with history with best quality equipment in room - especially for a single room, what I appreciated. I liked the beautiful colored tiles and tissues especially. Will come back!

Gatto Bianco is right in the middle of the Capri town area. Only a couple minutes away from the funicular from the Harbor. Even though it was just off the busy tourist traffic the room was very quiet. The bed and mattress was perfect and I had a wonderful sleep. Breakfast was everything, even scrambled eggs in a lovely courtyard with a waitress to help. Their was a frig in the room fully stocked, including water.
